Job description:
In this role in the Program Team, you will contribute to building the most valuable and founder-centric program in Europe. TechBBQ’s program aims to be highly diverse and inclusive of the European startup ecosystem. As a reflection of that, attendees should walk away from our summit with insights and inspiration that they would not find on YouTube.
You will succeed in this role if you manage to include founders, operators, investors, tech-leaders, and community builders across stages.
Responsibilities:
Identify and co-lead speaker outreach efforts.
Assist the Startup Program (pitch competitions, showcasing etc)
Curate panels, firesides, and keynotes for the main stages program.
CRM management of all relevant stakeholders.
Logistics & coordination, i.e., updating records, organizing travel arrangements, event-day logistics where the program is concerned, and building the schedule in our event platform.
Managing a team of volunteers pre- and during the event.
Leading the speaker suggestion box and communication funnel.
Attend relevant events in the startup & tech ecosystem when time permits.
Preferred key skills:
Strong interest in the Nordic, European, and US founder and tech landscape.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Experienced with qualitative research, and ideally experienced with concept development.
Experience with CRM systems optimization.
Strong organizational skills and good at handling pressure. Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Great communication and relationship-building skills.
A plus if you have experience in events and a structured approach.
Fluency in English - both written and spoken
